Reminds me of New Zealand’s Wood Pigeons. For awhile the farm I used to live on had a big cherry-ish tree, the fruit of which were mostly pip. The pigeons would eat them whole. I was helping stretch a sheet of clear plastic onto a frame (firm enough it was still functional 20 years later) and one of the pigeons dented it significantly with an ahh ‘aerial bombardment’. Later I was lazing under some trees, until I realised there was a Wood Pigeon derriere right above my head. Suffice to say I didn’t linger.
