It’s that time again!
As spring approaches it’s once again that time of year that my wife and I begin to fundraise for the Walk for Multiple Sclerosis. For the past three years, with your help, we have raised money for MS research – almost $20,000 to date! That’s amazing!! And while I can’t thank you enough for all your support, I will ask you to continue that support.

This year’s 10km walk for Multiple Sclerosis is on Sunday May 3rd, giving us about 2 months to try and beat last year’s amazing efforts. Once again I appeal to you as Sailor Bacon to donate what you can, and help spread the word and encourage others to donate. Our goal this year is $12,000 – the same as last year.
My cartoon skills and dignity are also available as incentives to motivate you to donate as. Once again I volunteer to dye my beard and hair if we reach certain milestones – starting at $5k with additional colours for each additional $1k we earn.
And if we reach our goal I will continue to bring Sailor Bacon to conventions for another calendar year. (She is currently slated to appear only through June 2015!)
If we reach our dream goal of $15000 I will upgrade the costume again (no idea how yet but I will!). I will also shave my head into a mohawk for the remainder of the 2015 convention season. Think of it – a rainbow mohawk!! You can make that happen!
I will also be offering art incentives once again. For any amount donated, just contact me with your pledge info (lar at lartist dot com) and I will send you a printable pdf of a special print (to be created in tonight’s Ustream).
Now here’s the really special stuff:
Donations of $100+. Send me your pledge confirmation and I will do an original ink drawing of a single character of your choice for you (no O.C.s or caricatures please). I’m currently limiting this to ten (subject to change).
Donations of $250+. Send me your pledge confirmation and I will do an original gouache watercolour of single character of your choice for you (no O.C.s or caricatures please). This is also currently limited to ten (subject to change).
This is the NEW one! I’m lowering my offer from last season regarding Black Velvet paintings! For a confirmed donation of $500+, I’ll do you a black velvet painting of any single character (no O.C.s or caricatures please) 11x14ish. Currently I am limiting this to 5 (subject to change)
I will cover all shipping costs to anywhere in the world.
