Dick Craft 2015!

As discussed last week, the biggest event of 2012 is back! Behold, Dick Craft 2015!

Here’s the deal:
Make a Richard thing. The definition of “a Richard thing” is up to you, but it must:

  • Be a physical object based on everyone’s favourite undead warlock (2D art is beuno, but nothing digital, disculpa)
  • Be made by you and only you;
  • Have never been entered into a previous Dick Craft contest;
  • Not use any Blind Ferret merchandise as a component.

To enter, e-mail a photo (a clear photo, we beg of you) of your Dick Craft 2015 submission to [email protected] between now and Sunday, May 31st, 2015 at 11:59 pm Eastern. That’s right, the contest has already begun!

To win, you must outskill, outcraft, and outlast your competition, based on the following:

  1. Quality of Photo – All adequately clear submissions will be posted to the Dick Craft 2015 album on the Looking For Group Facebook page. The quality of the submission isn’t judged at this point, only the photographic representation of the submission. If you do not see your submission in the contest album within two business days of your submission, you may send a follow-up e-mail inquiring about the status of your submission.
  2. The Gate Keepers –A team of Blind Ferret staffers will narrow the entries down to the top three. This team of Dick specialist will discuss internally, debate if we have to, and settle ties in the ring if it comes to it.
  3. Trial of Peers – The public speaks! Anyone who likes a submission can Like it, Facebook style. Voting will go on until Sunday, June 7that 11:59 pm Eastern.

The prize:
The lovely and talented winner receives an autographed set of Dynamite Publishing’s Looking For Group #1, including the extremely limited Blank cover.  I know that sounds like a joke, but Blank covers are totally a thing. Additionally, the winner gets a Looking For Group challenge coin. These challenge coins will not be sold in our store, and are rarely available outside of conventions. We sold out of the Challenge Coins we brought to Calgary, so even if you plan to see us at a convention this year, who knows if we will have any of these collector’s items left!

There will be no runners-up, so go big or you might as well go in your pants.
